DeskyPaw is made and operated by Itrostack LLP.

Short version: the DeskyPaw app does not collect your data, and this website only counts visits in aggregate, without cookies.

The DeskyPaw app

• No account, no sign-in, no analytics and no ads. During the free trial it makes no network connections at all.
• License check: when you enter a license key, the app sends that key and your Mac's name to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, to activate it, and re-checks it online about once a week. Nothing else is sent. The key and a first-launch date are stored in your macOS Keychain. After activation the app keeps working offline.
• It stores your settings (chosen pet, size, nap spot, bark sound on or off) and your focus statistics (sessions per day and streak) in a settings file on your own Mac.
• It never reads your screen contents, files, keyboard or other apps. The pet is drawn in its own transparent window.

This website

• The page loads its fonts, scripts and images from deskypaw.app itself, and sets no cookies.
• Visit counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where from (country, browser, referring site), in aggregate. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or other client-side storage, does not identify people by IP address or browser details, and does not track individual visitors across websites. It measures page-load timings and counts visits. The app itself has no analytics.
• The live demo runs entirely in your browser. Nothing from it is sent anywhere.
• Our host, Cloudflare, may process standard request logs (such as IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record: it collects your payment details, email and billing country, handles sales tax / VAT, and emails your license key. DeskyPaw never sees your card details. See Dodo Payments' own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
